2. I think this means that there is always light even if you can’t see the source of it. How this captures the catholic imagination is that we just have to trust that the light is God because we can see where its coming from.
3.I think that it means the catholic view of the world is that we are missing something in it and the protestant view is that the world is corrupt and bad.
4.Golem points to the aspect that we need to love are enemies because Frodo, sam and bilbo all choose not to kill him. Gandalf because he laid down his life for his friends like jesus. Then when aragorn releases the dead from there curse like jesus did with the people in hell.
