Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and services across national frontiers.

Countries become more industrialized and increased the production of their goods in order to overcome to demand. These industries in turn emitted various green house gases, which acted as a major contributor in the climate change. It is been assumed that this change in climate is due to human activities, hence alerted everyone and made it a global issue. The even composition of the atmosphere is altering due to the emission of tones of GHG (green house gases) through various activities like production, transportation, agriculture and consumer practices. Our atmosphere is gradually warming due to the accumulation of these gases. The impact of this climatic change can cause increase in drought conditions, floods are taking place frequently, also rising sea-levels and extreme temperatures are experienced. For solving the problem container ships should be filled completely and be more sustainable while consuming less fuel. There are some ships which really work like this.

Source: https://www.ukessays.com/essays/environmental-sciences/is-globalization-a-cause-for-climate-change-environmental-sciences-essay.php

Technology of transport and communication changed our opportunities to travel across the world and communicate with other people. For example with phones you can log in different social networks which are in trends. In the past for seeing friends or family members from other countries or states you had to drive or fly to them. You also could send a letter with pictures so they can see you, but they were never the present. Today, you can call them with face time or send them an active video. We have many opportunities in communicating with others without being near or with them. This is a very positive thing because old people sometimes are scared of flying or they does not have the force of walking so they can just stay at home and talk to the people they want to talk. Yes we had been traveling to faraway countries by the train, airplane or by car. Many streets from one country are connected with other streets from other countries. It has changed our life massive since we use social network platforms like Instagram. We are like dependent from internet friends or different trend videos. Many older people say that the youth of today are too often busy with their electronic devices. We have many unnecessary problems and want to clarify them all immediately with our phone. Our grandparents often cannotdeal with modern electrical devices, the sometimes do not even want to use them because they find them unnecessary and too much to deal with. I often video chat with my family in china and it is very practically. Everything has changed I cannot find any parallels with us and the people which was born 1950. In the past everybody talked much with each other they played board games at family meetings today the people do not talk very much with each other they write each other messages. They also do not like to play board games anymore they play video or computer games.

My Grandparents came from Macedonia to Germany around 1960. It was really new for them and hard because they had to learn the German language for getting a good job and integrating. I identify myself with the Macedonian culture, because a part of my family lives there, I speak the language and am familiar with the norms and customs of the country. This has to do a lot with globalization, because I think I wouldn’t be familiar with the culture of Germany if my grandparents hadn’t migrate here. I also wouldn’t know that language and couldn’t communicate or bind connections with people in Germany. My education also wouldn’t be the same and I could be less educated in things like IT or technic.

This Cartoon shows a negative Point of view against globalization. You can see somebody stepping on shops which sell environmental friendly products from the region. This cartoon shows us that globalization destroys our environment while producing very much products in big amounts with cheap labour costs from all over the world and selling them very cheap. So people don‘t buy anymore products coming from farmers Producer in the nearby region. That‘s why Farmers make big losts and have Go close their business. That’s very Bad dir our environment, because at first the fuel of the Transport polluts the air and those products like apples offenbare sprayest with antipesticides for keeping them looking well, which is bad for human‘s health. For harvest eg vegetables mass producers put medicins on their vegetables for letting them grow faster. They infiltrate in the groundwater and pollute it. We also drink water, which Comedy from the groundwater.

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices (which must never fall lower than the market price), Fairtrade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. It enables them to improve their position and have more control over their lives. Lately, concerns about the impact of trade and investment on human rights and labor standards in developing nations have become an important striking topic about globalization in Europe and the United States. In particular, labor unions, human rights groups, and other NGOs warned about "sweatshops" in developing countries that produce items for export and are characterized by low wages, long working hours, unsafe and unsanitary conditions, child labor, and prohibitions against organization among workers. Many people fear that globalization also are responsible for the spread of sweatshop production in developing countries, because they compete to establish new export sectors and attract investment from footloose multinational firms. The most popular fair trade organizations are World Fair Trade Organization, The Fairtrade Foundation and International Co-operative Alliance.

https://wcfia.harvard.edu/publications/fair-trade-and-globalization
