He was hired because they wanted him to give them guidance on how they would tackle the tasks without feeling at risks. The interview was basically about Hunter explaining of how he and some executives flew to a meeting for Theranos. He was explaining over how unusual things were in Theranos. Like how when Hunter went to use the restroom and someone had to keep an eye on him from not going elsewhere or how he wanted to go to the laboratory and the people at Theranos said they will check it out after lunch but then when the time came they said that it would not happen or how Hunter wanted to talk to the chief medical officer or the scientist that was working on test development but they said it would not happen for reasons. She said she did not care because Oprah said we can either love or fear. I think the author included this statement because Oprah was an inspiration and just shows how fearless she was. Oprah asked the husband a question and he said something about how his girlfriend was pregnant. This was news to the wife and everyone felt terrible for her. I think the podcast included these details to discuss how Oprah would never have something happen like that on her show ever again. She said that she would drop out of the business if that happened again. She felt terrible about hurting another human being. This was important because it shows the listener what kind of a person Oprah is personality wise. But even then he would not give up, he garbed the coach after practice and asked him to go over the drill again. He even came to Chris for advice, asking what he doing wrong in the drill. Dutch simply would not give up. He would come to practice and do the drill and people could see the improvement they would say "ohh he could almost do the drill now". In this interview producer Ellen Rakieten talks about how the people watching from home were like “Wow” this episode is very interesting but for the staff this meant bad news. During the interview Ellen Rakieten said very clearly that they decided to take the decision of not humiliating another person like that again in public. She also said that she was aware of the line that should not have been crossed. Her interview talks about everything from the secrets she was keeping about the Walgreens deal to how a lawsuit that was taken against Elizabeth lead to him taking his own life. Ian had grown suspicious of Elizabeth, as many employees did, but the lawyer for the defense subpoenaed Ian. He was very conflicted on what to do because he had worked with Elizabeth for years, but he didn't want to go to jail for her. Rochelle talks about how this took a toll on his mental health and he started to show signs of depression. This led him to take his own life. When Elizabeth found out about this all she sent was an NDA saying that his wife couldn't talk about him; we worked at that company for 10 years and they didn't even send flowers. When Russell spoke to Reggie about how they first met and how they would be able to recruit Lighty, Russell revealed that their first meeting had a bumpy start, and that he couldn't figure out what went wrong because all he wanted to do was praise him. Lyor was persistent with Lighty later in the episode because he genuinely wanted to recruit him. Lighty took up Lyor's offer on Def Jam because he was a big fan of the label and wanted to learn more about it. This detail illustrates how Chris Lighty grew to be so famous and well-known, to the point that he has become a legend.
