My first time traveling alone was to Vancouver, Canada. I was only 20 years old! My family took me to the airport on the day of my trip. Only when I walked into the boarding lounge, I realized I was all by myself and got very nervous. But when I arrived in Vancouver, I was lucky to have a very friendly and welcoming hostmom, Mila (that's her with me in the picture), who showed me around the city. While I was exploring the city, I was also studying English at a school during most of the day. I made awesome friends there!

The weather was hot and sunny (it was the middle of the summer), so I could visit beautiful beaches and explore the nature.

When I look back and think about this trip, I realize I was very brave to travel to another country by myself. I feel very proud of myself, and I would love to go back to Canada someday, this time with my husband.
