of problems along the way: they almost get found out and they worry that the murderer will be out to kill them next. My favorite character in this book is Daisy as she is the lead detective of the case and is very funny. She notices the tinies little things and always seems to make solving a murder case seem quite easy. Her bestfriend Hazel is more shy than Daisy, but is still an amazing character and the two are inseperable. I enjoyed this book because it is very gripping and i didn't want to put it down. The choice of language, humour and the plot was fantastic. If you enjoy this book, there is a whole series to read. Whilst he is away Mina has her friend Lucy over, Mina is motherly kind and supportive to Lucy during her stay. Lucy suffers from sleepwalking and is scared of sleeping because that is when Dracula steals her blood. Throughout the whole ordeal Mina is protective keeping her mostly out of harm. It can also be noticed that when Mina leaves Lucy to go look after her husband a noticeable decrease in Lucy's health appears. Mina is also very friendly to a homeless man near her house he warns her of terrible things and she befriends him. She is my favourite because she is headstrong powerful and lovely to her husband and friend. However Lucy is graceful she is also ditsy and slightly grating as she repeats the same mistake of leaving the window open several times. My personal favourite character in these stories is Ella, so story one. Delilah ,as I have said, looses Ella ad she has to go and find her ,as her alarm clock keeps going off everyday at 1:35am. Ella doesn't have any interests, as she is a doll. Despite being the antagonist, Jack is my favourite character and the leader of his school choir. He is described to be a tall, thin and bony boy of around 12, with ginger hair and freckles. Jack enjoys authority and is infuriated when he loses the election to Ralph and is denied leadership of the group of boys. However, Jack is granted leadership of a group of 'hunters' and he quickly becomes obsessed with the idea of hunting. I would not go so far as to call Jack insane but throughout the book it becomes clear he's certainly unhinged. Jack is hotheaded and dislikes listening to anyone who is not himself. Although Jack is noticeably not as cold or cruel as his second in command, Roger, he clearly has nothing against Roger's behaviour or actions. Over the course of the story, Jack becomes more and more savage, loosing himself further to the bloodlust hunting provided. Despite never physically taking a human life, Jack's actions lead to the deaths of multiple other boys. Disturbingly, Jack never displays any obvious remorse for any of these incidents. Describing why Jack is my favourite is difficult, he is not a good person, nothing you can particularly sympathise with or anything of the sort. However, he simply struck me as the most interesting of all of the boys. (He is also a lot of fun to draw.) Hazel is a girl from Hong Kong who moved to a boarding school in England. There she met her best friend Daisy Wells. Daisy and Hazel then came face to face with many murders. The 2 girls have to solve these murders quickly before its too late...

During the series, I have noticed a drastic change in Hazel's character. At the start, Haze was a shy timid girl who kept herself to herself. She was constantly worried as she didn't look exactly like anyone from England. She thought she stood out and was always judged wherever she went. Soon, Hazel learned to embrace the fact that she was unique and she began to like the way she looked. Hazel then grew to be bold and brave. She became smarter and faced her fears. She always followed her gut and she came face to face with many bad people.  Hazel went from a shy,timid girl to someone who was not afraid to follow her beliefs.

Hazel was the writer whilst solving murders. She would jot down all the notes in her case book as well as venture out to solve her many cases. Hazel loves to read, code and solve puzzles. All of these help her solve the murders. Hazel loves to eat cakes and many forms of ice buns.

Throughout the series, clearly Hazel faces a lot of adversities. Hazel faced over 10 murders before the age of 18. That's too many problems for a life time.

Haze is my favorite character as she is very smart yet fun. The book was written in first person as if it was coming from Hazel's own mind. This meant we constantly got to see her opinion and feelings on the things the two girls faced. Hazel became quite a risk taker in the last couple of books. She also considered the consequences of her actions. She is thoughtful and polite when needed but can also be intimidating to help her get to the bottom of her cases.

I like her because she is funny, witty, sarcastic and kind! She loves all to do with books, knowledge and friendship. She is always helping Harry and Ron solve all off the problems , since she actually pays attention in class. She is always there when they need her with hers smarts, it’s clear she knows what she is doing. She is usually discriminated for being a mudblood (a witch or wizard with non-magic parents).  It brings her down a little, but she never let it ruin her. She kept strong even in the rough times and kept her and her friends strong with her. That’s why she is one of my favourites!

The only protection the human race has from the titans is the three walls, wall rose, wall Maria and wall sina. One day the outer wall, wall Maria, is broken down by the colossal Titan giving the titans access to human flesh. 

My favourite character in Attack on Titan is Hange Zoë since she is always very positive and high energy. She finds interest in doing experiments on titans to find out any unknown information about them and see how they react in certain circumstances. Hange is one of the commanders of the surgery corps along with Keith Sadies and Erwin Swith. She gets along really well with Levi Ackerman and Erwin Smith since they’re all in the survey corps and either lead a squad or team/group. Sophie inherited her fathers awe striking looks and emerald green yet her mothers evil soul. She was raised without the knowledge of her twin as her mother has sought to abandon Agatha, yet they become friends without knowing their relationship as siblings. Sophie was highly influenced by her mother and mimicked her beauty tricks, making Sophie more beautiful and radiant than anyone in Gavaldon, almost crying as she so mearley broke a perfectly filed nail or got a split end in her waist length blonde luscious hair. She was dubbed by many as the most beautiful girl in her village.

Even though she had a naturally evil soul, Sophie believed she was meant for the school for good as she committed ‘selfless acts’ in her home village in hopes to marry a prince in the near future. Eventually she accepts her evil, manipulative side and almost kills those around her as a result. She is either admired or hated by her peers. Sophie was vain and selfish, obsessed with her beauty. Sophie is willing to do anything for her own selfish needs, never being able to put others before her, almost killing her best friend over a boy. 

 Overall I think her personality is complicated in a way that kept me engaged and her sudden twist from good to evil really spiked my interest even more. Her selfish acts become more outlandish and she somehow manages to slip from her responsibilities and is never held accountable with a slip of her machiavellian personality.

My favourite character is Nikki Maxwell as because it is a book based on diary’s you get to knows lots of details and feelings of Nikki and I got to understand her a lot. She has a lot of unlucky situations with her life and a lot of them including Mackenzie ,her bully. She was born into an average family and not a lot like other kids at school with the latest new clothes or phone. She was desperately waiting for a phone to be like other normal kids and to fit in at her school.

Even though she may be a dork she has a lot of good things about her aswell. She’s a great artist and had over 100 people from her school lined up ready to give them tattoos with a pen. She did all this to bring attention to the library and to give people more passion to read and gave them reading tattoos. She wanted this so the head librarian would pick her and her bestfriends (zoey and Chloe) to go to New York. Next to all of her crazy life situations she also has a secret crush on the most popular boy in the school (Brandon). As time goes on Brandon and herself start to connect at moments but never truly bring up any relationship.

Nikki has an annoying little sister Brianna who won’t stop singing, talking or exploring for new adventures. She is always getting in the way or Nikki and they never really has a bond with eachother throughout the book .Exept from hating eachother and argueing they never really talked or spoke. He is a butler for a young boy named "Ciel" . Although he is really a demon who has inhuman powers he always says he is just " merely a butler" .

He has saved Ciel dozens of times from situations like kidnapping, near murder etc. The way he is summoned is by Ciel having a patch over his eye and once uncovered some sort of signal is sent to Sebastian and he is able to find him almost immediately. His personality is portrayed as quite uncaring and not bothered but if you read on in the actual manga you see he has a special place in his heart for Ciel and other people like the chef.

My favourite character from this book is Izzy, I quite like her personality even though she is classed as one of the bullies, her personality is kind and sassy towards the start but slowly developed into a more cold and passive aggressive behaviour towards the protagonist yet still remains kind to her close friends

I really enjoyed this book because it added a unique twist on a stereotypical high school by introducing the element of witchcraft. I also enjoyed it’s plot as it leaves the reader with questions yet answers them later in the text

My Favourite Character is Sherlock Holmes. Mr Holmes is my favourite character for many reasons but mainly for  this. He was always very professional with his work and would never let any incidents slide they would always be sorted.Sherlock Holmes is quite a mysterious man as he never expresses his feelings.At the begging he could be described as quite solemn and questionable but in my opinion it was at the end when he really shows his true colours. If you didn’t know Sherlock Holmes is one of the worlds best detectives.In this book he faces a few problems with some evil people but gets some help from his little team of the Baker Street boys.In the Middle of the book Sherlock was taken away and kidnapped by the evil people (who were working for the most evil detective in the world).Mr Holmes really stuck out to me at the end when his friends come and save him.This part stuck out to me because it shown that it’s okay to ask for help when your stuck and confused and to never give up hope no matter the circumstance.-Anaiya Llynos Amos-Smith
