Two college sweethearts turned into long-term partners with a penchant for travel always wondered if there was a service that could provide them with their personalized dream itinerary. It could save a lot of late-nights research and planning time for their upcoming trips from their busy schedule. A few years fast forward; Galliwant is the result of that desire from the two young professionals (Kapil Sharma & Gayathri Somepalli) to make this dream a reality for everyone.

I founded Galliwant in May 2021. I have loved traveling since childhood and ventured out to nearby cities and towns whenever possible. My love for traveling grew even further after meeting my future wife during my master's in the United States. We loved diverse cultural experiences, trying different cuisines, and meeting new people while traveling.

Before founding Galliwant, I worked as the Director of Engineering at Lambda School (now Bloomtech), where I led the software development engineering org. I started my career as a software engineer and later worked in various organizations' software engineer, architect, and management roles. I hold master's and bachelor's degrees in computer science.
