The tomb of the king Pere II is formed by a bath made up of porphyry, a very resistant igneous rock. Above the bath, there's a slab that closes it, which is made up of white rocks.

They are mainly made of a limestone called calcarenite.
Some of this rocks have rather curious marks. It's interesting to know, that these marks were the signature of the stonemasons that worked hard there. We have solved it using conversion factors. Bearing in mind that the monastery is 43 km away from the quarry, we have done the calculation of: 43 km divided by 6 km/hour (the speed of the horse cart).
