Henrietta and her cousin found that she was feeling some type of knot inside of her. She didn't go to the doctors because she was scared of the doctors taking out her womb so she couldn't make babies. She then became pregnant and had her fifth baby and her and her family thought nothing of it anymore. She starts bleeding and she finds a lump in her and decides to go to the doctors to check it out. The doctors noted records of her life to find the reasoning for the lump and found nothing that could lead up to this.

No hope for her as the doctors "tried everything" they can to save her. She kept coming everyday to check up looking for a treatment until she was hospitalized. They tried looking for ways like using alcohol on her but nothing worked. So they just been taking notes on her and how she is doing.
