He wrote this to expose the terrible child labor conditions. John Spargo talks about how dangerous and hard it was to work in coal breakers; this is where the young boys had to work. John Spargo then describes how the young men would have to sit for hours crouched over, while they picked out the pieces of slate. He also, describes how the boys were effected by sitting with their back bent for hours.</div>]]></description>

This shows how William wanted to take Roosevelt's spot as president. Uncle Sams says " Bill you'd look so much better in your own clothes." because he's shocked to see William in the clothes.</div>]]></description>
