<title> Judith, Spain From my point of view there is a lack of STEM skills in Europe is due to that education are reliant on the companies. In order to provide them with qualifies employes , who could face their requirements in some subjects with specific knowledges .Education must improve national strategies promoting a positive image of science, raise awareness of science, make improvements in school based science teaching and learning, increase student’s interest in science and aim for gender balance. Transforming young people’s attitudes to science is a long-term but is necessary. Besides to provide employers with required skills in , science, engineerand maths. We need to implement curriculum reforms, create partnerships between schools and companies as well as set up science centresAlthough there is an increasing recognition of the importance of school-industry partnerships – there is little emphasis on the labour market and industry settings for these types of initiatives. Furthermore, there seems to be scope for developing active labour market policies in the field, providing further training to those unemployed to tackle STEM shortages.</title>

<title>Judith, Spain 3.1 STEM skillsSTEM skills are defined as those skills “expected to be held by people with a tertiary-education level degree in the subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathsThese skills include “numeracy and the ability to generate, understand and analyse empirical data including critical analysis; an understanding of scientific and mathematical principles; the ability to apply a systematic and critical assessment of complex problems with an emphasis on solving them and applying the theoretical knowledge of the subject to practical problems; the ability to communicate scientific issues to stakeholders and others; ingenuity, logical reasoning and practical intelligence. This kills are related with a variety of professions (both inside and outside of the STEM fields)The example of non-STEM profession could beTheatre technician . It is a job in which we will be able to desing, build, and move sctage scenery. This profession uses STEM skills like physics, maths as core skills to develop it properly </title>
