They belong to the staff of several musical shows as substitutes or they are beginners who want to have a chance in the castings.
The amazing point is that they are singing beautiful songs in lovely voices while they are taking your order, serving a plate or taking on the check.
It was a cheaper approach to the Broadway ambience if you can't afford those expensive fares.

One of the places that surprised me was this huge Basilica, placed alt the narrow quarter of Montmatre, but not for its restrained architecture, just for its special and lively atmosphere.
You could seat in its stairs for hours, watching all kind of performances : folk, pop, rock singers, out of fashion clowns, jugglers with soccer balls, hip-hop dancers, fire-eaters, and so on.
I remember there were a crowd of people spending time, until the night fell down . But the show never ended.

It is a very nice place where you can glimpse all the city. Yo can go up to the mountain by using a cableway built over 100 years ago. On the top, and if you go with children, you can enjoy a little theme park. And once in the city, it is recommendable to eat the typical "pintxos" with "Txakoli".

By far, it is the most shocking place I’ve ever been. If you visit Berlin, Sachsenhausen is placed only one hour by train from the city center, in Oranienburg. It wasn’t the hugest Nazi concentration camp but had its significance in the proceedings that the rest of the camps were ruled. It was in Sachsenhausen where Nazis proved new ways of torture, medical experimentation and methods of mass killing such as gas chambers, if they were successful they used them in the rest of death camps. Sachsenhausen is nowadays a horror museum where Germans rebuilt the whole camp as in 1940,the buildings, the characterization, the picture’s collection and the frightening silence in the camp make it really worth to visit.

Normandia has a lot of beautiful landscapes, magnificent beaches and charming villages. Its history, so related to the building of the UK, is also a surprising tale of conquerors, kings and queens, alliances, revenges and different people all along the centuries, leaving their footprint. But none of those glorious facts came to my head when I visited Omaha Beach. When I first visited that beautiful beach I could help myself thinking on the terrible drama lived there in the World War II. How many young men died there? Among them was, maybe, the inventor of the AIDS vaccine, or the greatest musician of all the times, or just a loving son that couldn’t hold his mum’s hand when she breathe her last breath … Holidays are also a perfect time to think about us as human beings and as human race, enjoy the moment and, why not?, try to be a better person.

Likely don't forget to visit "As Catedrais beach" which is considered one of the most impressive beaches in the world and where films have been recorded. None of this surprises me because when I went there I wonder if I was on another planet. Huge, natural sculpted rocks rise from the ground, like if they where giants standing immobile watching how the waves go and come. Moreover, if you go during a month with "Marea viva" in a few minutes the level of the sea can grow a meter! This phenomenon would be the icing on the cake!

"The soile is almost paved over with stones" wrote Roderic O'Flaherty. The stone built- forts are splendid examples of barbaric monuments in Europe, a common type of circular stone-built cashel. Dún Eochla is the name of the fort (below): oval stone fort with an outer rampart. Aran Islands are plain, full of natural terraces separated by stones and rocks. There are big cliffs where the atlantic ocean crushes...a lot of wind and rain..and also loneliness.
