I'm in New York City, in The USA. This is a photo I took of the bustling area of Times Square. It is often called the crossroads of the world. Nearly 500,000 visitors every day, and even around a million tourists are visiting on New Year's Eve. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Located in the Downtown of New York City. The city never sleeps and is always crowded with people. You can also see countless lights that are decorating the tall building. As you know, I'm learning English at the moment. I'm taking a two-year English course here, so I hope my English will improve in these two years. The teachers here are friendly and always care about their students. And the classes are so fantastic, and we also watch English documentary films and read novels.

The weather is nice at the moment, but it's usually cold most of the time.

Did you know that your golden son’s workplace was moved from Busan to Seoul? It was not as hot as Busan. The people in the city were are very simple and had have systematic lifestyles. N Seoul Tower, a symbol of Seoul, which is located on Namsan Hill, the highest place in Seoul. The sky was very clear and it was a full moon day. We stayed there up to 10:00 PM. These tower allowed us to see a really beautiful sunset and created an attractive moon at that night. I thought that the moon was a little bigger than that in Myanmar. Since I was born on the full moon day, it could bring back my old memories, about my childhood friends, my homeland and give a chance to remember happy pieces with both of you. This is the reason why I sent this email.

Hello! I'm excited to share something new. Last month, I started my first makeup class at "Makeup Surri". When I first decided to join, I was a little excited but also very happy because I always wanted to learn professional makeup artist.

On the first day, I walked into the makeup classroom , and I saw many different makeup products and brushes. I was amazing! Our teacher, Tr. Surri was very kind and welcoming. She started explained explaining the important of good makeup products before applying any makeup. This was new information for me, so I listened carefully and actively.

We learned about different types of foundation, concealer and other makeup products. We first learned how to use them, and then we had to practice on ourselves. It was fun and excited exciting to so much. I talked to my classmates a lot of during the practical session. We shared tips and helped each other.

I felt more confident after the first few lessons. Now I understand how how to use eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara correctly. I'm pretty enjoy this makeup class because I felt like I learned a valuable skill.

Today, I want to share about my memorable trip to Bagan. This journey brought me peace and a lot of knowledge.

Last year, I went to Bagan with my family when my school was on holiday. I was really excited because I had never been there before. I was amazed by the grandeur of the temples spread across the plains. It was a bit hot, but the sky was clear and beautiful.

As soon as we arrived, we explored the temples by e-bikes and visited famous pagodas like Shwezigon, Pyathetgyi, Shwesandaw and Bupaya. Watching the sunset from a temple was an unforgettable memory. The orange sky blending with the serene temples was truly breathtaking.

Throughout my trip, I spoke with local vendors. Their friendliness and hospitality especially their smiles made me love Bagan even more. We bought some souvenirs from a local vendor who told me interesting stories about temples.

This Bagan trip was truly a valuable experience for me. The magnificent ancient heritage, natural beauty and the warmth of the locals refreshed me. So, I highly recommend Bagan to anyone who loves to travel.

Last year, I went on a trip to Shan State with my dance group members. After a complicated and tiring dance competition, we decided to relax both our bodies and minds. So, I recommended visiting Kalaw because it’s very close to my hometown, Aungban, and it’s the most relaxing and peaceful town I’ve ever seen 🌳.

We traveled travelled there by coach 🚐, and it was really fun 🎶. It was definitely worth taking them to Kalaw because they were amazed and enjoyed the impressive views along the mountain roads. As soon as we arrived at Kalaw Villa, they told me they already felt relaxed because of the view and the cool weather 🏞️.

The next day, we went to Byike Mountain and took a dance video 🎥 on the famous railway track 🛤️. Then, we visited an orange garden 🍊 and picked a lot of sweet oranges. For lunch, we went to Café Kalaw ☕🍽️, which is famous for its delicious food and calm atmosphere. After resting there for a while, we continued to Kalaw View Point to arrive in time for the sunset.

The road to Kalaw View Point was very rough, and we felt sick and almost vomited. However, as soon as we arrived, we forgot to breathe for a moment. The sunset view was the most gorgeous view I’ve ever seen 🌄. The sickness from the ride was blown away by the fresh, cool breeze 🌬️. The majestic mountain ranges ⛰️, the narrow path along the top of the mountain, and the sun slowly setting behind the mountains made life feel truly worth living✨. We drank warm milk and peacefully enjoyed the sunset without saying a word.

The next day, we climbed Ohsi Mountain to see the sea of clouds ☁️⛰️. We were lucky to see both a breathtaking sunrise and sunset 🌄. Afterwards, we had breakfast at Kalaw market 🍜, enjoying delicious and affordable Shan traditional food. The gentle, polite, and warm-hearted residents 🌸 made us feel so welcomed and relaxed as we talked and shopped around Kalaw Market 🛍️.

Later, we visited the Kalaw clock tower 🕰️, train station 🚉, and park 🌳. We also rode horses 🐎 at the entrance of Kalaw. It was my first time and really exciting 🎉. At night, we returned to the villa and made a campfire 🔥 with BBQ 🍢 and drinks 🍹. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and warmth 🌠. We shared memories of the struggles and joys from the competition.

We went to bed very late that night 🌙, and the next day we headed back to Yangon 🚌 to restart our dance careers. After the trip, we felt recharged and ready to face new challenges in our dance journey✨.

Mount Popa is about an hour’s drive from Bagan. It is an old volcano with a tall rock in the middle. On top of this rock is a beautiful monastery with golden roofs. The place is very special to local people. They believe it is the home of spirits called nat.

When we arrived, the view was amazing. The rock looked so high, with the monastery shining at the top. To get there, we had to climb 777 steps. It was a long way up. On the stairs, there were many monkeys. You have to be careful cause (this is okay to use in informal writing but in formal ones, it's always better to use "because") they like to grab food.

The climb was a little tiring, but the views were worth it. At the top, we could see far across the land, green fields, small villages, and mountains in the distance. The temple was full of colorful statues and places where people prayed and gave offerings.

After spending some time at the top, we walked back down and had some tea and snacks nearby. It felt good to relax after the climb.

As a Myanmar citizen, visiting Mount Popa is always a meaningful experience. It connects us to our history, beliefs, and traditions. Each time I go, I feel proud of our culture and happy to share it with others. If you have not been there yet, I truly recommend making the trip.

One of the highlights of the day was when we reached a high point and saw the view of Bagan. I was absolutely amazed. The sunset in Bagan was my favorite part of the trip. We climbed up to a high place to see it. The sky slowly changed from blue to orange, pink, and gold. The temples looked beautiful in the evening light. Everything was quiet and peaceful. I felt very happy and calm. It was one of the best sunsets in my life.

Along the way, I also talked to some travelers and local shopkeepers. Their smiles, their stories, and their kindness made the experience even more special.

Looking back, this trip wasn’t just about a birthday- it’s was wonder and peace. Bagan gave me a memory I’ll carry forever.

When we arrived at the camp, we ate together and listened to our pastor, who taught us many important things about life and God’s ways. His words gave us strength and refreshed our minds and spirits. After lunch, we played games and spent time in fellowship. Everyone was happy and full of energy.One of the best parts of the trip was visiting a farm with our youth leader. The air was so fresh, and the view was truly beautiful. Being in nature helped reduce my stress and made me feel peaceful. We took many group photos to keep the happy memories. One of my friends, who is very good at taking pictures, took many nice photos of me with the natural background. I really like those photos that she took for me.

I truly enjoyed this weekend trip with my church youth group. We made so many wonderful memories together, and I will never forget it.

In this blog, I will share my pilgrimage to Kyaik Htee Yoe Pagoda in on my last Thadingyut holiday.

It was my first experience to go to an unfamiliar place with my school partners on in the last year of school life. I was also excited because I made a leadership was the leader for my traveling group. Before starting we set off, our headmistress called meetings, gave trainings training sessions for three days and she also asked the things to put in our backpacks. She applied strict rules and decisions, so she could control all her 150 students. We rent 3 coaches and 2 minibuses to take us there. And here we go.

We set off our journey at 5am. Along the way, we sang loudly and danced happily.At 7am, I noticed that our vehicle’s direction was temporarily changed to the largest Buddha’s image. It is on the Three Pagodas Mount, Kyaikhto city and on the way to Kyaik Htee Yoe Pagoda. It was just an image but one incredible thing is that the height of the image is 255.5 ft and the largest Sitting Gautama in the world. One hour later there, we continued our journey. We got to the mountain camp at 11am. All the groups of our school moved quickly to board passenger truck because it was a sunny day.

When we arrived at the mountain, all groups are were directed by a manager from a guesthouse that gives a free night for every student. And then, we unpacked our backpacks for a while and had our lunch. After that, our headmistress gave a freedom to travel around the other places for about 3 hours. I lead my group to Kyaik Htee Yoe Market, Crow’s Mouth(CM), Moke Soe Taung(MST), etc. At CM, we threw gold coins into the mouth and if we got, we would prayed.

When we got to MST, we lost our mines on beautiful hills and landscapes with heliports. We shouted aloud to relax ourselves and came back to the guesthouse. As soon as we reached, we took a bath and had our dinner. At 7pm, I offered a set of golden robe as a representative of our group. We also spent time until 10pm by taking group photos, drinking tea and walking under cool temperature. The whole day was a present from God. If I had a chance, I would like to repeat my journey again and again.

Last month, I felt really down and I was downhearted as I lost my football game. In that moment ,I was thinking about how can I deal with this emotional pain. So I got a an idea that is to visit peaceful place and to calm down my feelings.

So I decided to go my grandparents’ village as I haven’t seen them in a long time.So I went there with my cousin. We went there by motorcycle. Along the road, it had there were many beautiful viewpoints like beautiful rice fields,many toddy palm trees and some farmers who was plowing their fields. It is also near the Rakhine Roma Mountain range so I also felt the beauty of those mountains but I also heard the sound of gunfire.It was terrible.

When I arrived there, I rushed straight to my grandfather’s house and ran to hug him.And my grandfather asked,“Do you want to eat first or take a walk around the village?”.So I went around the village.In the middle of the village, the children were playing and my cousin asked to play with them. We also played some different games and we enjoyed a lot.After that we went to the stream and also swam together with them.And we went to the palm forest and drank some palm sap.

At the afternoon,we came back to my grandfather’s house and had our lunch with various curries.I also love the taste of these curries and these also made me feel the flavors of rural life.After having our lunch,we also ate some traditional snacks and we slept for a while.At In the evening, I said goodbye to my grandfather’s house and we left.

I think I went to old road but I felt new feelings and it also make made me forget my bad mood and I also get some experiences and many lessons. It was also an unforgettable memory.

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to reach out and personally thank you for your support during one of the most heartbreaking times for us — the earthquake in Myanmar on March 28, 2025. It was a tragic day that took many lives and left entire communities with nothing. Like so many others, our team lost everything. But with your help, we were still able to come together and do something good . We managed 10,000,000 kyats to donate clean water, instant noodles, dry cakes, canned food, and other basic supplies to those who needed them most.

We raised the money through a local fundraising campaign. Everyone gave what they could — small businesses, neighbors, friends, even students. We also held a simple bake sale and an online awareness event to spread the word and gather more support. It was moving to see people come together with such compassion.

All the funds we collected were donated to Local Charity ( which helps people door to door in Sagaing Township ) a group working directly in the hardest-hit areas. They're using the money to provide emergency food, clean drinking water, and hygiene kits to families struggling to survive. It’s a long road to recovery, but every little bit is helping people get through the days.

When I was 10-year-old, I went to Naung Cho with my mom. I went to the Village market, what do you think what I saw? Yes, I saw a lot of tofu. they can cook everything with tofu such as warm tofu, Setofu (Burmese name), Soybean, and Pae Pote so on. I love Beans. When I saw them I really happy. I didn't go back home.

Second day, I went to Pate Chin Myaung, it's a waterfall. I swam a half day and stayed in water then I was sick. but I wasn't lie down on the bed.

Third day, I went to a tiny village (I'm sorry I don't remember the village's name). I saw many kinds of Shan traditional suits. I love all of them. It's made of real gold and many jewel. It's rare. I saw once in my life.

The King and the queen only can wear them.

Fourth day, I went to mountain and watched the traditional dance. I'm interested in it, and I also danced at that time. I learnt quickly their dance and immediately I danced.

The fifth day, I left in that place early morning, and I went back home. One day, if I have a chance, I'll go there again.

I would like to thank you to everyone who has helped us to raise money for UNICEF over the two months. We've successfully raised $2000.

Most of you know one of the ways we raised money for the charity of "Safe Kids". These two months we raised money by different ways. We sold handmade products. And we also sold snacks, books and clothes. And every Monday we each paid $20 for healthcare to older.

UNICEF will use the money on project around the world to help children. UNICEF protects the rights and well-being every child. And also supporting access to quality education, health and nutrition.
