         <title>I usually use the strategy “ PREDICT- WATCH-THINK-WRITE” The video is divided into the parts and teacher pause and ask a few questions. Students answer the questions and predict what will be the next.  Students will identify and explain, through the use of examples, how visual language influences the emotional response of the viewer.</title>

         <title>Teaching point: Revision of Second Conditional sentences.</title>

To enable students describe a scene and imagine what they would do if they were in this difficult situation.<br>2)  Suggested grammar, focus / skills acquisition: extend vocabulary and Second conditional sentences.<br>3) Possible outcomes: describe orally or in a written way what happened in the short film, how the different characters felt, what happened to them, what they did and what the students would do if they were in a dangerous situation like this.<br>4) Checking for learning: <br>Can pupils:<br>a-  name the different objects in the short film?<br>b- say what happened in it?<br>c- say what kind of film it was?<br>d- say what happened to each of the four characters?<br>e- say what they would do if they were in a situation like this?<br>f- pronounce words correctly?<br>g- describe briefly where the short film took place?<br><br>1st- I will play just the sound of the video. They will have to guess/predict if the film is old or new, how many members there are in it, if it happens outside or inside, etc. (pre-watching video activities)<br>2nd- They will watch the movie to see if they guesses were right or wrong. <br>3rd- Class activity: make a graphic organizer on the board. (check and expand vocabulary) <br>4th-  Revise and practice Second Conditional sentences (affirmative, negative and interrogative forms)<br>5th- In pairs students have to write a dialogue between Brody before the trip to kill the shark and an expert on sharks asking and saying what he could do if.../ would do if.../ should do if...etc<br>6th- Students role-play the dialogue and the other students listen and check if there are some coincidences with their ideas.</div>]]></description>
