"Hobbies and Skills Exchange"

How it works:

Step 1: Hobby Skills Share

Each participant shares one skill they’ve learned or improved through their hobby. It could be something practical like "time management" from gardening or "creativity" from painting. There is no need to write things down, just speak about one skill.

Step 2: Find a Match

Once everyone has shared their skill, the group works together to find similarities between their hobbies. For example, someone might say "My hobby of photography taught me patience," and another participant might add, "I learned patience from knitting." They can discuss how different hobbies can help develop the same skill.

Step 3: Skill in Action

After matching similar skills, each participant briefly (shortly) explains how others can use that skill in everyday life. For example, if someone says their hobby helped them improve "focus," they might suggest how focus can be useful when studying or working.

Step 4: Group Reflection

The group reflects on how many skills are shared across different hobbies, even if the activities themselves are very different. Encourages participants to talk about how they can use these skills outside of their hobbies.
