Paper is A thin nonwoven material traditionally made from a combination of milled plant and textile fibres. First paper-like plant-based writing sheet was papyrus in Egypt but paper was first true made in Lei-Yang, China by Ts’ai Lun ( Cai Lun), a Chinese court official during the Eastern Han period (25-220 AD). Purpose of produced paper was used for writing, drawing and money.

My encounter with natural light:

• Everyday i wake up, light to me represents a new beginning, bright my energy, light bring me happiness and warmth my heart. Every morning, on the way i drive to my local, i always enjoy the morning sunshine and i would told myself that “ Today gonna be a good day”. My favourite activity to do when i’m feeling down is go for a morning walk and catch sunrise at Mentone beach (sadly i only can do this in summer time) . By enjoy early morning fresh air and watch the sunshine, light connect me to the nature, relief my stress and remind me to slow down and live in the moment.

• Once i was stand under the tree wait for my bus, the light reflect of tree branch waving with the wind, i did thought of a hug from my grandma, hugging me in the cold of winter. Warmth my soul. An international student that live far away from family.

• I think the only thing that i dislike about the light is heat of nature light, because sometime i did get sun-sick when i go out in the middle of afternoon. (especially in Australia summer)

My encounter with artifical light:

• For me, an golden soft lighting in the evenings make me feel calming and relax after a long day. I also like to light my candle because i like my room to smell good and love to enjoy the warmth candle.

• Let’s imagine after a busy day, take a shower, going to bed early and light up your candle ( things i do when i feel i need rest). The smell and warmth from the candle will help you feel relax and fall to sleep faster.
