"If you want to succeed faster, make more mistakes."
This article talks about how in todays world companies must innovate to remain competitive. But to do this there is a high risk of failure, and companies need to realize that the best innovative creations come through making risky decisions rather than holding back. It talks about how often businesses avoid failures, but they shouldn't be because it is what often creates success. I think this is very helpful information, because with school I am so focused on getting perfect grades where I could refrian from thinking out of the box, but I am realizing it can be beneficial and better to take that risk.

Resilience is more important now than ever due to the impacts of COVID-19. COVID was a perfect test to business' resilience abilities. It talks about how it is important for managers to instill resilience within their workers, it is not just important for leadership to be resilient. The writer of this article talks of how he stays resilient, and one of his mottos is "don’t get bitter, get better". It's helpful to here advice from a real person who has been faced with challenges and how deals with them in the business world. People don't often talk of how hard it can be to stay optimistic in times of struggle.

" Having a defined goal or reason for doing what you do means that even in the toughest times, when it feels like the world is against you, there is a reason to keep moving forward."
My takeaway from that is making sure that your team is invested and passionate about the work they are doing. Because people will more easily be able to bounce back from failure and stay resilient if they are motivated to do so. It is also important for leadership to keep the morale of the team high so that they can remember why they are there and why their jobs are important.
