I am writing to you in regards to the statement about the nurses pay. I agree with the statement as nurses are practically the same as doctors as they do the same job. 

Firstly, it is proven that footballers are payed way more than they should be. The are paid 10 times better than a nurse is yet a nurse risks their life with dangerous viruses and diseases and also take care of the ones we love in their hardest times, yet footballers are getting paid to amuse the public. 
This has to end now because statistics show that with all the strikes happening in all NHS hospitals 9/10 people are think of quitting which leaves us in a difficult position cause if theirs no one to look after the sick they will all surely die. 

Secondly, when it comes to accidents nurses don’t get enough attention paid to them because of a footballer was to injure their leg by spraining it and they can’t play anymore it will be all over the news in an instant, yet when a nurses catches a sickness or cuts them selves severely they are left to clean up after themselves and take care of themselves which goes to show that no one cares and I think that’s wrong.

So I urge you change the pay of nurses to the same as doctors.

I have asked you all here today to discuss something I thought I would never have to. The environment. Now I know some of you may think that it’s nothing to be concerned with but I assure you it is. The points I will be discussing in this speech is earthquakes , floods, hurricanes and landslides.

Firstly, earthquakes and floods. The most horrific earthquake in history has got to be in Valdivia, Chile in 1960 now I’m not sure what caused the earthquake but I can tell you we had some part in it. This tragic event was a massive 9.5 which is 178 gigatons of power which is equivilant to 1,000 atomic bombs being dropped. This event took the lives of 6,000 innocent people And cost $1 billion in damage. This is shocking because all the pollution we pump into the atmosphere comes with a price. 

Now the flood that I want to talk about is the St. Lucia flood 1287. This flood swept away the lives of 50,000-80,000 people. The cause of this was high spring tide mixed with low pressure which I’m sure we had something to do with but apparently we have not learned from our mistakes.

Secondly, The 1900 Galveston Hurricane. Had 145 mph 230km/h winds which ripped through buildings and shops. A low pressure of 936 Mbar.
A reported of 6,000-12,000 dead. This is being called the fourth deadly hurricane and had a 15-foot storm and was 9ft about sea level. Which was probably because of all the waste a pollution we pump into our oceans. We have got to change.

Lastly, The 62 Nevada Huascaran Debris fall, Rantahirca, Peru lands lakes of January 1962. Killed 4,500 people. It was caused by the ice sheets on the mountain melting by thawing probably due to global warming which is our fault. The Ice sheet was 1 kilometre wide and 40 feet high, which buried several villages in Ranrahica underneath it.

We need to discuss our earth and how we are destroying our environment for future generations, We need to take more responsibility for protecting our environment or we may not have one in future years to come. 

What do all these disasters have in common? Floods, earthquakes, hurricanes and landslides. Floods are the worst in years in England, many in the north, nearly every winter they have floods and some have landslides. This effects us and everyday people by our travelling systems being in trouble and our friends and family can’t travel.

Prisoners have three meals a day, cells with roofs and roommates, can socialiser with other prisoners and officers, are aloud to watch TV some prisons have consoles and they are aloud visitors.
