I had a crazy, fun summer! I went to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico which was amazing and went on a hot air balloon ride for the first time (terrifying!) I also went to Cambria, Kentucky (twice - my daughter is off to UK), and Portland. AND we had 5 babies born in our family within two weeks. Phew!

I had a very busy summer! I spent a lot of time with family and friends. My husband and I finally got to meet our godson who lives in Arkansas! I also spent the summer working summer school and this was my third summer working at summer camp at the YMCA in Upland. Then of course, made a lot of trips to Disneyland!

This summer was like a whirlwind! My husband turned 40 and we celebrated with family and friends. This charcuterie spread was part of the festivities and it did NOT disappoint.

Our kids got a remodeled bathroom and we bought a new car (which I am so in love with).

I normally would not boast about a summer professional development but here I go, West Covina Unified School District gave us the opportunity to work on a 2 year action research project called Grading for Equity and we kicked it off with a 2-day PD a few weeks ago and I am excited to part of this pivotal change.

Hello everyone! 😁 This summer was an absolute blast and I’m feeling so refreshed and ready to start another great year of teaching and learning!

To celebrate finishing my first year as a teacher (phew!), my partner and I went to Oahu for 10 days right after finishing ESY, and it was absolute paradise—we tried some of the very best food we’ve ever eaten, went snorkeling and diving in crystal clear water, took an ATV tour around the North Shore, and enjoyed the rich culture of the island 🏝️. We also went to a Labyrinth (the 80’s movie) masquerade ball at the end of August— it was absolutely magical and fulfilled a long-time dream of mine to dance in a full-length ball gown at a high fantasy ball!

Hello, I also had an eventful summer. After helping with ESY at Ontario-Montclair, I spent some time with family and friends. Our family usually visits each other at home but this year we had a lot more outings. We visited different gardens, museums, an animal sanctuary, and had several different beach trips. As a bonus several family and friends announced that they are expecting, our large family is growing some more and I can't wait to meet the new additions.
