On one hand, we can now talk to family and friends who are on the other side of the world, which wasn't possible before. On the other hand, people who are physically closer to us have started to become more distant, and our friends have become online games, mobile phones... things instead of people, and we no longer interact in person. We must not forget the dark side of the internet, where people create fake profiles to deceive us and make us vulnerable to these bad actors.
