Which blended learning model(s) are you most familier with?
1. I am most familiar with station rotation and flipped classroom.

1. Truthfully, in my school the only way to implement blended learning is through station rotation mostly because there are very few teachers who follow a BL style in my school. It would be hard to implement any other models as there is not enough support in the school that fully understand the depth of BL.

I am most familiar with station rotations. This has been a practice of mine for many years in my career (I just didn't know it was blended learning :-))!

2) What model(s) will work best to embed the HQIM/Adaptive Programs that I am currently using?

In my PreK classroom, I believe station rotations are the most effective model because of the age of my little learners. They are young and new to learning environments, however are able to work independently through station rotations, which allows me to provide explicit small group instruction to meet student needs.

I am most familiar with the station rotation model. I have used it every year, because it is a principle of teaching in early grades to teach them content. However, when COVID hit, I did teach in an Enriched Virtual model which I liked but definitely prefer working hands on with kids.

2) What model(s) will work best to embed the HQIM/Adaptive Programs that I am currently using?

I am currently in a PreK classroom, therefore everything is done in small group. That's the best way to ensure I am meeting them where they are, they are grouped based on abilities, and I am able to ensure they are mastering what I am teaching before moving on. Most importantly I can ensure they are paying attention. This way they also get to work independently to some degree while also receiving explicit instruction from myself.

The blended learning model I am familiar with is the Station Rotation. This is something I've implemented in my Pre-K classroom in the past and now in Kindergarten. In my class I usually have 3-4 stations where my students rotate every 20 minutes.
I am convinced the Station model would work best for implementing HQIM/Adaptive learning. For example, one station in my class is reading/writing. Students work on a Saxon phonics worksheet and move on to practice, labeling, writing a list of words/letter of the week, and a sentence. For adaptive learning students work on Iready/Imagine math.

The blended learning styles I am most knowledgeable on is Station rotations, I have conducted small groups in this setting, students have diverse activities while I am conducting 1:1 groups. In class students work on stations for 30 min we rotate 3 times allowing me to see 3 groups at different levels.
Station rotations will always be a must but I would like to start TEK BINS and understanding how to use choice boards.

The Station Rotation Model works best to embed the HQIM/ Adaptive Programs because it already has a "space" for adaptive software as one of the rotations then your can utilize the district's HQIM to put into data-driven activities.

I am familiar with station rotation. Students rotate through different stations on a fixed schedule, which can include:

Online learning
Small group instruction
Collaborative activities
Independent work

We use Study Sync in our district and this is the model that works best for this HQIM.

You can create stations for:
- StudySync digital lessons (adaptive practice, reading, writing tasks)
- Small group instruction (targeted support or enrichment)
- Collaborative work (discussion, peer review, projects)
Allows differentiation and flexible grouping based on data from StudySync assessments.

Playlists and choice boards work best for embedding HQIM in Schoology and adaptive tools like Code.org, since they give students structure but still allow self-pacing.

I am most familiar with station rotation, flipped classroom, and the use of playlists. The model(s) that work best in the classroom with the HQIM and Adaptive Learning Programs is the station rotation and the use of playlists. In the primary grades, I see teachers already using the station rotation. They just do not label it station rotation. During station time the students move from station to station including stations that require technology and the use of Adaptive Learning such as iReady Reading and Math, and My Math Academy. In the upper elementary, the teacher utilize the playlist with the students that are focused or individualized.

I am most familiar with choice boards and station rotations. I have been trying to incorporate these things into my classroom for a few years now. There are times where I find is easier in some lessons and harder in others. I feel as though sometimes we get push back if we are using it and it is not in our scope and sequence.

Out of the models that I use the model that works best to embed HQIM and adaptive learning is station rotations. With this model, I can incorporate different skills and students are still able to work at their own pace with more structure.

I am most familiar with station rotations, choice boards, and playlists. I currently use a modified version of a stations/playlist in my classroom, but I am looking to improve the way in which it is implemented. That's why I'm taking this course!

I think the playlist format would work best with the HQIM system we are using for 3-5 RLA in my district. This will allow students to work through weekly lesson cycles at their own pace with differentiated supports in place. I would like to find a way to also include station rotations to allow students to work through some adaptive software programs that will further support their learning. Fingers crossed I can make it happen.

The blended learing style I am most knowledgable on is Station Rotations. I have used some form of station rotations for about 20 years. My students would work in groups of 4-5 on 1 station a day. This station would include a must do activity that had to finished and then several may do activities in which they had the autonomy to work on however they wanted. This allowed me to see small groups for about an hour a day.
I think station rotation would work easily to add in adaptive learning. I would just make it one of their stations or it could be a part of the must do for each.

I'm most familiar with the station rotation model and the playlist.
I consider the playlist the best option now to integrate the adaptive programs and HQIM because my kinder students can follow their personalized path independently and I can give the support needed when meeting with them in teacher-led table. Kinder students need the structure given by a playlist and the routine we've built around it. I'm still learning how to fully integrate the HQIMs to the playlist so I can get the best of them for my students independent learning path.

Which blended learning model(s) are you most familiar with? So far, I've had more experience with station rotations. I noticed that students like walking around the classroom instead of staying in their seats. I'm still learning how to incorporate new lessons, but spiral reviews and test reviews are a way to go when you want to have more engagement from students.

I am familiar with the Choice Boards and station rotation during my Blended Learning Block.

Currently, I am using iReady as my adaptive software. The 4 groups that I have rotate between technology and choice boards. Although SeeSaw is not an adaptive software I am able to design it to meet all students and my EB students. These are items that are put on the Choice Board for my students. They have must do's and may do's that are marked with a star. This helps them to see which ones have priority. The Choice Board helps them to have autonomy in choosing which must do they can do on any given day, as long as they are all done by the end of the week. Since I work with 1st graders using a timer to remind the students to go from iReady to Choice Board is a great visual model for them. Helps them to stay on track.

I am most familiar with the Choice Boards and station rotation models for blended learning. In my current third grade ELAR classroom, I started the year using a fixed station rotation model to allow students the opportunity to become familiar with blended learning. As the year has progressed, I have switched to choice boards with must do and may do activities identified by stars. Students must complete 5/9 activities for the week, including iReady which is used as an adaptive software. I often incorporate lessons from my HQIM in blended learning to build student understanding and skills. I would like to start building in pathways or playlists to my class to increase blended learning time and reduce the time spent in a whole group instructional block. I have found that allowing students to engage in the curriculum by using these supplemental tools and supports has drastically improved their learning.

I have experience implementing choice boards and station rotations both independently and in tandem. While my students last year adapted seamlessly to these models, this year’s cohort has required more intensive support to follow directions and stay on task. To address this, I have had to revisit foundational expectations and "reset" our training.

At times, I’ve pivoted to independent online work or smaller, targeted groups of 2–3 students to practice physical station activities until expectations are met with precision. In my experience, the success of these models often depends on the maturity of the class. For the K–2 level, I find it most effective to master one activity at a time before attempting to implement multiple blended learning components simultaneously.

Station rotation is the BL model that I use most in my classroom. The students have an activity they must complete (online or paper) before time runs up or switching groups.
I feel that the individual model would be best used in my classroom with HQIM/adaptive learning so that all students are on their own self pace and not having to wait on others in a group to complete something before moving on.

I am most familiar with station rotation and choice boards.
I think that station rotation is the easiest to incorporate adaptive learning because in a station, students are given a task they must complete. I can also implement activities that are strictly TEKS driven based on what we are learning, or spiral in previously learned TEKS for students to continue to work on.

1. As a teacher using HMH Into Reading and i-Ready, I am most familiar with the station rotation model—students rotate through teacher-led instruction, collaborative work, and technology-based learning stations; whole group and small group rotation—the teacher delivers HQIM instruction to all students and then pulls small groups while other students work independently or on adaptive software; and the playlist model, wherein students follow a structured list of tasks (Must Do/May Do), which aligns with your current use of accountability sheets and playlists.

2. For my classroom, I believe station rotation model with teacher-led instruction, close reading discussion, adaptive progress like i-Ready with personalized reading lessons based on student data, and an independent practice station. It may also include collaborative partner work, writing tasks/stations, and reading fluency practice. This will allow students to receive grade-level instructions while also filling gaps through personalized learning. A playlist model may also be recommended since I have been using accountability papers and playlists with Must Do that include HMH Into Reading assignments, teacher-directed tasks, and written responses with text evidence; thus, May Do that may include I-Ready lessons, choice board activities, and independent reading. Students can move at their own pace while ensuring they complete essential HQIM tasks first.
