         <description><![CDATA[<div>If a scientist found U-235, then it is most likely from igneous rocks. U-235 is commonly used to date rocks, and it decays into lead-207. The isotope U-235 is trapped in the minerals of igneous rocks, which crystalize into hot molten magma. From there on forward it will begin to slowly decay. Yellowstone National Park is on a volcanic hot spot, the U-235 may have been from past eruption of the volcano. Or it could be leaks of magma, etc.</div>]]></description>

The isotope most likely got there because of a volcanic explosion that formed igneous rocks and cause U-235 to be trapped in those rocks that contain lots of heat and pressure. This would cause the U-235 to be found inside the rocks that are formed once the magma cools down.</div>]]></description>
