         <description><![CDATA[<div>These currents work by material getting heated up, and due to this expanding making their volume increase. Due to the volume increase the density decreases making the material rise. While this is happening the air at the top is cooling and going back to normal size. Making the density go back to normal, so it sinks to the bottom. This is a constant cycle.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As you can see, one of the plates is going under the other because it has more density than the other plate. Then the more friction there is from the movement of the plates the more thermal energy there is. The thermal energy causes there to be heat which melts the other plate that didn’t fall down. What melted from the plate turns out to be magma/lava. So all in all, the plates together have formed a volcano 🌋 </div>]]></description>

This process, called subduction, occurs. Because of how thin the oceanic crust is the lava from the mantle can often come to the surface creating volcanos.🌋</div>]]></description>
