All these sports gave me the same thing. They gave me my competitive spirit. My second year of Track I met a soon to be close friend. When I first met him he beat me in long jump. I wanted to beat him so badly, but I could not jump a farther distance than him. I would get mad when I would get I would get a second play ribbon. I would love the feeling of winning . Then this carried over to gym class where I would love to win. I would race kids and enjoy going across the finish line first.
