I would like to summarize projects and the goal of this organization in one word purifying. I would like to explain why the word purify represents The Ocean Cleanup. There is a project in the official website of this organization called Waste Management and Recycling. They recycle the first plastic catchup in 2020, and their current future goal is scaling up the ocean and river. Not only recycling they make people to recognize the impact to nature by human by advertising. Lastly, they are posting the information about why the ocean and river must be clean, and they are sending people for purifying these. Due to this information on this website, I perceived the importance of scaling up water.

This is a group works to develop new technologies for deal with the plastic pollution in the oceans. And they have been working on this goal for ten years and have cleaned up a lot of rubbish.

Three activities:

Great Pacific Garbage Patch Cleanup: This cleans the largest ocean of Marine plastic pollution and relieves the pressure on Pacific life.

River Interceptors: This prevents more plastic from flowing into the ocean.

Scientific Research and Data Collection: This gives humans more data to govern the oceans.

WWF‘s Activity：

1. Protect endanger animals such as panda, tigers, sea turtle.

   Effect： significantly endanger animals escape from extinction. And save the ecological chain.

2. Prevent global warming in promotion green power such as solar power and less carbon emission.

Earth Guardians (EG) was founded in 1992 to foster environmental awareness and action. Recognized for impactful initiatives such as sandalwood forest restoration and ocean conservation, EG gained global attention in 1995 when the Dalai Lama presented the Children’s Torch of Hope to 25 students through Global Families. In 1997, EG moved to Colorado to expand its influence and empower youth through political activism. In 2012, EG’s Crews program began to solidify its commitment and belief in youth-led grassroots action. Soon after, in 2015, the RYSE Youth Council was established and EG became a plaintiff in the case Julianna v. United States. Today, with a global network spanning six continents, EG empowers youth around the world to lead community change and builds collaborative networks to support their efforts.
