I really like these little staircases, they have something special and delicate about them compared to the taller buildings next to them. And they have railings on the side, which make them impassable, so they are isolated from the hustle and bustle of city life - many of them are covered in moss, a stark contrast to the pale, monotonous floor tiles of the street. Like a gentle breath in a busy city.
