Click on the articles below to review their characteristics to determine if each article is acceptable for inclusion into your PoP. 

Warning: Some are high-quality peer-reviewed studies, while others are trade journals, news, or reports that—while useful for personal knowledge—cannot be used in your PoP.

Post each article title into one of two columns based on your group's evaluation:

• COLUMN A: Keep (can be used in my PoP)

  • Criteria: Must be Peer-Reviewed/Refereed. Contains methodology, data analysis, and theoretical grounding.

• COLUMN B: Toss (cannot be used in my PoP)

  • Criteria: Trade publications, news, "how-to" guides, or practitioner briefs. These may be written by experts, but they lack the formal peer-review process required for your dissertation.

2. What are the "telltale signs" of the articles you put in the "Toss" column? (e.g., lack of a bibliography, colorful ads, shorter length, or conversational tone).
