Padlet is a tool that allows students to collaborate, demonstrate their knowledge or brainstorm as a group. Students could use this to post their findings about ocean pollution in order to brainstorm for a PBL unit focused on lessening California's contribution to ocean pollution. This tool facilitates students in attaining skills that allow them to be creative communicators as well as knowledge constructors (ISTEb, 2022)

This is a tool for students to demonstrate their knowledge and create their final artifact for the PBL unit. This tool can be used in either environment, as most can, however it is best used when students are able to meet in real time at some point. This is due to the complexity of putting together a website a final artifact that will most likely contain other artifacts of learning within it. Students will communicate complex ideas, as a group of third graders did about bring food from farms to tables in a quicker more cost effective manner. They then created a website with their ideas, solution and findings. This proves to be a method of enabling students to become empowered learners who are able to communicate complex ideas in a creative and effective manner (ISTEb, 2022).
