I never went to my 

middle school graduation

Once in a lifetime 

Opportunity wasted 

My parents were wasted,

They were mad at me 

So I embraced it 

Forgive me… I never 

Went to social events,

Or joined a sports team

I never want to do those things

Because it was a waste of time

Day by day

The day passes in 

A flash, regretting the 

Smallest will hold 

You back

I always face my fears 

In the eyes, 

And fight it

America, don’t give up. 

You should never be afraid.

I never thought

Of becoming the

Person that i am

Looking at myself

In the darkness

Cold and frail

Having a lifeless brain

Perspective

I never thought it would come to this 

Guns, Poverty, Drugs 

No one ever wanted this 

The choices you make make you 

Either for the good or bad 

Can make people sad or mad 

Getting kicked out the house  

Living with the grey haired mouse 

Is this how you wanted life 

Living on nothing but grain and rice 

So going back to school not trying to act all cool 

Getting my degree first have to start with that GED 

So before you make a choice 

Ask yourself is this how I want life to be    

for helping people

It’s something I do naturally

I love taking care of the old,

Loving the young,

Feeding the poor

I always lend a hand 

To those who who need it

And lift up those who feel down

I never leave out the ones that need help 

the most b/c everyone needs someone 

when they are feeling low

Playing volleyball

That gave me so many

Team respected me so

Much they wanted me to

Be their captain

They believed i would 

Be a great leader

And knew i wouldn't

Let them down

till it was too late

Wishing i would have went

and stayed the long 

cold, windy nights with you.

I never layed down 

beside you hearing you breath.

I never wanted to say goodbye for the last time. 

Grandma forgive me,

    It was a bad day

    Long trip in a car 

    I hope this day never happens again

    We left the house

Without using the restroom

Oh why is this happening

I felt the liquid drip down my leg

By then i knew it was too late

Soiled pants for the rest of the day

            I looked at myself 

And realized that it was done

I never want this day to come again

The snow 

They say it's soft

Watching it fall from the sky

Covering up the roads like a blanket.

Little kids building snowman

On a cold cloudy afternoon.

I never got to lay 

And create snow angels,

Making snowball fights the play.

Many friends explain what it's like

But there's nothing like seeing it for yourself.

What I was

 looking for

Looking all around the 

House and even

Through the door

I never could

Remember and it

Burned me to the core

But then I looked

Down and it was

Right their on the floor

Helping me with my homework every day,

Teaching me the skills needed for life.

I never thought what life would be like without him.

I am sorry dad, i took you for granted. Now you are dead and i realize all that you did for me.
