Ruff! I could not put this book, Touching Spirit Bear, down; not even for my stick! The author, Ben Mikaelsen, created a dynamic character, Cole Matthews, by describing his personality, his thoughts, and his relationships with other people, which all allowed me to easily connect with Cole. This book is really about Cole's journey as he learns more about his true self and how to be compassionate towards other people. I connected with Cole because sometimes I, too, don't listen or agree with what my parents tell me to do or I get so focused on a squirrel or bunny, that I don't care about following the rules! However, I keep on learning how important it is to love and figure out who you really are--just like Cole. If you love reading about mysteries and a character who tries to defy all odds, this book is for you! PS-Ask my mom for a copy, she has plenty because she loves the book too!

The book, "The Young Elites" by Marie Lu is a attention-grabbing thriller that includes the Medieval Times back in London. Adelina Amouteru, the distracted 15 year-old, tells the story of her life (in first person), her fights with her father, and what she was. Adelina was a malfetto, or a person scarred by the plague that swept through the country. I love this book because of the way it's written, and how it caught my attention in the first few chapters. I recommend you read this book if you enjoy a long story with the mystery of murder and more. (found on Amazon and I can lend you my copy)

The book is "Graceling" by Kristin Cashore. The main character is Lady Katsa. Katsa's Grace is initially thought to be killing, as she reflexively killed a cousin who touched her inappropriately when she was eight. Her uncle, King Randa, realized if she mastered her Grace she could be of great use to him, so he uses her to scare and kill all those who displeased or crossed him, Katsa is very fearful among all seven kingdoms. The book is very recommended and very interesting. Graced people are recognized by their 2 different eye color. Katsa's eyes are blue and green. The book is very interesting and mysterious, and it is written in a great way!

The book "Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25" is an amazing one about a boy that, at first, seems ordinary, but possesses a great secret! Find out how he foils the dangerous plots of the main antagonist, Dr. Hatch, turns (some of) his enemies into his friends, and copes with the struggles and hardships constantly thrown at him. I love this book because of his awesome "power"! If you like mystery books, this is a great read for you! I personally love this book so much, I read it like 10 times. This book is a start of a series you won't be able to put down! (Hope I didn't give away too much...)

The book "Zoo Break" by Gordon Korman is an amazing fictional story of six average high school kids planning a devious crime to take back one of the six high schoolers pet monkey. These six kids go to anything necessary to get back what they have lost. Many of the kids at my school would like to read this book because "Zoo Break" can relate to us "teens" by telling a great story of teens standing up to adults.

One of my favorite books is "The Dragonet Prophecy" by Tui T. Sutherland. The book is about a dragon war. After Queen Oasis is killed by a scavenger (a person) her three daughters Burn, Blister, and Blaze are fighting for the throne. The sisters, in order to win, ally themselves with different dragon tribes. Burn is allied with the MudWings and SkyWings, Blister is allied with the SeaWings, and Blaze is allied with the SandWings and IceWings. 20 years later, the NightWings (Who have special mind-reading and can foresee the future) come up with a prophecy that says that dragonets from each tribe will come and choose the next SandWing queen. There are supposed to be dragonets from the MudWings, SandWings, SeaWings, NightWings, and SkyWings but something (I won't tell you) happens to the SkyWing egg, they have to use a RainWing. When the dragonets are 4 years old, they decide to escape the cave where their cruel "babysitters" are keeping them. What will happen next? Will they escape or fail? Who is their mysterious captor? Find out in "Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy"!

The first thing that I thought about when I opened the book was how the title "Cinder" sounded a lot like "Cinderella. The book throws a different spin on the classic "Cinderella" that is sure to please everyone that reads it. Cinder is a cyborg living in New Beijing and has a job there as a mechanic. Not many people walk into her shop, since she's a cyborg and the only friends she has is Iko, another cyborg, and Peony, her stepsister. Until one day Cinder's life takes a turn and someone important walks into her shop. This book is adventurous as well as interesting and truly captivates all audiences.

My favorite book is "The Hunger Games". The reason why I love it so much is because it is a mixture of many genres. For example, it includes mystery, action, adventure, and drama. The book also incorporates many emotions such as sadness, happiness, anger, and excitement. It is a heart-touching book that explains the flaws within our society by portraying the future as a horrible place. There are characters such as Katniss that become close to your heart as she goes through tough times. I would recommend this book to anybody because this book incorporates all genres that anybody would read it and love it. As soon as you pick up the book, you are attached to it. You are going to want to take it anywhere and everywhere. The story is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen who volunteers to fight in the deathly Hunger. She has a mentor named Haymitch who she hates at first but later appreciates him and realizes his bad attitude is from being messed up by the Hunger Games. She also meets her fellow tribute Peeta. Both of them astound the Capital and gain sponsors. The problem is that President Snow suspects them. Katniss and Peeta meet sad moments, hard decisions, suspicions and help along the way as they fight they're way in the deadly Hunger Games. I encourage you to read this book!!! The Hunger Games is the best book ever!!!

I dont have a favorite book but my favorite series is the " The Heroes Of Oylmpus," by Rick Riordan. The reason why is because it consists many genres, but the 2 main types of genres are mystery and action. What this series is about is that the Prophecy of Seven is coming at hand. The 7 main characters, Percy, Jason, Frank, Leo, Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, are the only ones who can defeat their worst enemy yet........... the Earth!?! As soon as I read the book, I just didnt want to put it down and go to my next period........ but of course I had to. But my point is if you dont get what i mean by, " They have to destroy Earth," and you start to wonder, then I suggest that you pick up this series as soon as possible and start reading away

I love to read many books. However, one that stands out is “The Red Pyramid" by Rick Riordan. Carter and Sadie Kane are the children of an archaeologist. Sadie has been living with her grandparents in England since her mother's death. When Carter and their father, Julius, go visit Sadie, Julius takes them to a museum. Their father tries to summon a god, and they're uncle, Amos, takes them under his wing. When they arrive at Amos's house, Sadie and Carter realize that Egyptian Gods are real and they are the products of 2 very strong bloodlines. They must go on an adventure to get there father back and save the world. They travel the world, fight gods and goddesses, and make friends and foes. The novel is action packed, hilarious, and exciting. Carter and Sadie take turns on narrating their adventure through their perspectives. The book is exhilarating and surprising with many plot twists. It will satisfy you and want you to read the rest of the series!

The Book Thief is my favorite book because it is very emotional and shows a lot of feelings and action. The author makes every part when Liesel steals a book exciting and impossible to forget. Markus Zusak wrote the book from the point of Death, so it shows every characters feeling in some way. The book also creates tension and makes you want to read more of it. Also, the author makes a ending part very sad, but ends the whole book with a happy reunion. The author also ends the book without a cliffhanger so you won't wonder what happens next after the book ends. That is why I like the Book Thief.

The book "Out of my mind" by Sharon M. Draper is the best emotional book you can read because it is about a girl named "Melody" who can't walk, talk, write, and feed herself. Melody is definitely disabled, but she has very great abilities inside of her such as having great memory and being the smartest kid in the grade, but no one sees that. Melody gets out of control to show what she tries to say everyday and people look at her as crazy and mental, but she is trying to show very important information that can be very useful to the person she is trying to show it to. Melody struggles to show what she can do to earn her respect that she deserves. Read this amazing book to see what she does!

Harry survives the Killing Curse from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and lives with the Dursleys, his only left family. However, information comes that states Harry is a wizard, and goes off to attend school at Hogwarts. There he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and get into all sorts of mischief and adventure. He also has to go through perils such as the loss of loved ones. With every loss, he becomes stronger and strives to defeat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

I have to agree with alot of people here with Harry Potter. The whole series is a mystery and has you hooked to the point you can't put it down. I have read all the books and they were incredible and not at one point did i want to stop reading or get bored. You feel like your along with Harry through his magical mysterious trip through Hogwarts.I won't spoil anything but i do suggest you read them for yourself. Yer a wizard Harry! (Hagrid)

Also another book that i personally really enjoyed was Old Yeller because it was sad but took me on a heck of a ride. Old Yeller is about a boy who really wants a horse but lives in the woods and there is rabies going about and he finds this sweet lost dog that he really dislikes at first because the dog ate all the meat but the two of them start to get along until one day........................

Go read for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is an amazing book to read. I love this book because it shows what people have to face when losing something that means so much to them. Once you pick the book up, you can't put it back down. Friends of mine would love to read this book because it's an adventurous book. You want to know so bad what's going to happen next that when your mom call you for dinner you say, "In five minutes!" My friend would think one thing is going to happen and then the total opposite of that happens.

This book is about three children whose parents die in a terrible fire. Or at least that's what we think... The children are devistated that their parents have died. So, a man named Count Olaf adopts these children(man in the cover page), but he doesn't seem as good as he looks. He has an evil plan to marry Violet, the oldest of the three siblings, because her parents were rich and left the family fortune to her once she becomes 18. Count Olaf wants to steal their family fortune... To find out what happens, you'll just have to read the book!

This Book is another amazing book by Rick Riordan. I love it so much because it is the turning point book in the Heros Of Olympus series. I think people should read this book i they like action, adventure, and comedy. It shows all of those quite well. This book highlights the adventures and struggles of the newly formed team of Greek and Roman demigods (half human, half god.) It reunites some lost friends from the Greek Percy Jackson series and forms some new friends from the new Romans. When a chapter ends you just want to keep reading more and more. This book has an amazing plot and ends with the biggest cliff hangar ending that I have ever read. (no spoilers though.) To find out you need to read The Mark of Athena

I enjoy reading a lot of books. One of the books that I personally love best is called the Julian Chapter by R. J. Palacio. The book is a sequel to a New York Times Best Seller-Wonder. In the original book, the main character was bullied by another kid named Julian, and this book kind of gives the inside to why he was so mean and what he was experiencing. Everybody loved the book Wonder, and this book tells the full story in such a way that you feel satisfied and glad with the end result. "Sometimes it's good to start over."-Julian Albans. If you love heart-warming books that are an easy read, this book is DEFINITELY for you. :)

This book is based on a little boy, Bruno, moving from the heart of Berlin to the Germany country side. He loses all his friends but meets one new boy, Shmule. Each child is on a different side of the barb wire fence but grows closer each day. Bruno has a sense for adventure and will do anything to keep his only friend. Bruno's father, mother, and sister go looking for him after he goes on an adventure into the concentration camp to find Shmule's father. This book does not just inform people abut the Holocaust but tells a story of two boys learning about what goes on, on the other side of the fence.

The book is based on a 12 year old girl who lives with 5 other family members who runs an ice cream shop. All she wants to do is be away from them and be alone with her friends. One day a tragic event happened which tore the family apart. With the help of her family and her trusted friend, she learns a very valuable lesson; the hard way. The reason why I loved this book is the book is touching and it is based on a middle schooler. Throughout the book, it showed how to heal from the unthinkable and the unusual. It also says how a family can help each other during hardships. The book also showed me that when ever there's a bad side, there is always a bright side

My favorite book is " Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins. It is a book full of action and mystery, but is also a love story centered around Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. Catching Fire is the second installment in the Hunger Games Series and picks up after Katniss and Peeta win the 74th Hunger games in the first book. Although they survived the first games, they end up going back with a bigger challenge. This book is not only a book about survival, but also teaches you how people risk their lives for the people they love and care about.

It can remind you too be kind to others and not make them feel disappointing at something somebody said to them. As you read this book, you"ll start thinking about all the time you bullied or judged people by the way they look but instead of what they think of. This book can show others that being rude and selfish isn't right but it can also teach them how much they regret what they said to others they have hurt.

My favorite book is The Maze Runner, which is by James Dashner. I love this book because it piques the readers interest on the many elements of the book (e.g., How did they get here? What is with the Maze? etc.) Dashner incorporates an original slang that is used frequently throughout the book and really helps grow the idea of a bunch of teenage boys stuck in the middle of a Maze that have to survive on their own rather than boring characters that speak without any creative expression. Dashner keeps things going slowly at first, which really gives the reader an idea of how Thomas (the main protagonist) feels as he slowly grasps the idea of the Maze. The ending left me hungry for more and resulted in me buying the Scorch Trials (the next book in the series.)

In this book a hobbit need Bilbo Baggins is an ordinary person who then meets a wizard named Gandalf and 13 dwarves who convince him to come on a journey to take back their kingdom in a mountain. Along the way they fight any creature like orcs, giants, and when they get to the mountain, an evil dragon named Smaug. Then, when the dwarves and others take over the mountain a war starts between the dwarves, elves, orcs, and the people of laketown for all of the mountains riches.
Sorry but for some reason I cannot copy paste a picture on here.
