My reaction to the last section of the novel was glad because Melinda finally accepted what happened to her and decided to tell someone which was Rachelle giving her an indirect warning to what he was really like and to get away while she can. In the very end, I was most glad because she finally told an adult what happened, telling mister freeman in the final line saying one of her only words “Let me tell you about”. For doodle pages, my favorite doodle was my quote I love for the final line in the book because it was my overall favorite quote from the book and kept me thinking of what was going to happen after she finally told someone almost a whole year after the event.

1) By the end of the novel I was happy of the events that had happened. I was happy because Andy ended up getting exposed and melinda got almost all the weight of the 🤬 off her chest. Melinda started being more happy and people where noticing her more and andy got in big trouble.
2) My favorite quote from my doodle pages and the book would by Mr. Freemen " You just choose your destiny, you can't change that". I like this quote because to me its saying all the choices you make will affect your future. Another doodle I liked was the apple I drew because it looked good and melinda related it to her having a fun time with her family when she was little.

I got really happy when Mr. Freeman asked Melinda if she has been through a lot and she replied with, "Let me tell you about it" (page 198) and when Melinda finally told Rachel about what happened that night at the party because it was a big step for Melinda to finally speak up about what happened to her. My favorite doodle was a quote from page 154. “They were dolls, with no thoughts, or opinions, or voices of their own”. I like this quote because it is a perfect description of how women acted back then. It also kind of relates to Melinda with the part where it said, “...voices of their own”, because Melinda doesn’t use her own voice to speak up about things.

My reaction to the last section to the novel is suprised, worried, angry, happy, and sad. The reason I was surprised is because of the chant that they did for the Hornets. I was worried because of what was going to happen to Melinda and what Andy was going to do. I was angry because what Andy was going to do when he walked into the old janitors closet. I was sad because she cut her had when she was holding the mirror peace trying to get a grip on it to protect herself from Andy. I was happy that Melinda got an A+ on her assignment in Art and also happy that she was starting to talk to people again after what happened. My favorite "doodle" was when I was explaining how I laughed at the chant that they made for the Hornets.

I was getting so happy for her, when she started to stand up for herself and finally saying NO. Me favorite doodle of the last one is when i have a brain and brain fighting because she kept fighting herself on to speak up and everything. That's on page 151. To be honest the quarter 4 chapter was mostly like a whole roler coaster while reading it.

I was in shock that it happened again but I was proud of her for saying no to Andy Evans. I was happy that she started to talk to people she started to talk to her mom which made me very happy. My favorite doodle was on page 197 it was when Melinda's mom took her to the hospital and there was a message from Rachel on the machine when she got home. It shows that her mom cares about her and Rachel is sorry for not believing her the first time.
