Find 10 objects. Then draw 3 circles outside using chalk/use 3 plates to physically make the sums with your child. Put 2 objects on the first plate, 3 on the second plate and 5 on the last to make the first sum that makes 10. Your child can practise the different ways of making 10 using 3 addends e.g. 2+3+5=10, 4+4+2=10

To finish try this worksheet practising adding with 3 numbers. Once again you can print or write the sums into a copybook. Be careful because not all of the sums equal to 10! :)

We are so happy that many of you have been reading lots of books on the Oxford Owl website. We recommend reading at least one book per day if possible whether it is from Oxford Owl, a book from home or now you can choose a book from this new library.
Choose a book that suits your child's level. Encourage them to make predictions (what will happen next?) and connections ( this reminds me of__). Discuss what you liked/didn't like about the book afterwards.
