I think that popcorn is indeed a very good choice to demonstrate the law of the Conservation of Mass. I think like this because the law states mass cannot be just created/destroyed, something has to destroy it or create it. In this example, the kernels explodes into the popcorn that we eat because the water droplet in the tiny shell called the hull changes its state of matter to steam due to heat, and when the hull can no longer hold the pressure, it explodes.

I think popcorn is a good choice to demonstrate the law of the Conversation of Mass. As the law of the Conversation of Mass states that no substance can be created or destroyed. I think the process will be fun to observe the kernel exploding. The process of the kernel is the tiny droplet in the kernel of water turns into steam and the hard shell, or the hull can't hold the pressure any longer, so it explodes.

I think popcorn will be a good example of showing the Conservation of Mass law because when you measure the popcorn kernels, they equal to a specific mass. Then when you heat the kernels and measure them again, people will think that the mass has changed. Actually, the mass has stayed the same! The Conservation of Mass law states that mass cannot be created nor destroyed. So, no mass has been created. The kernels have become the fluffy piece of popcorn that we have come to love.
