I believe that no matter where you are, a good citizen will carry the same traits. These traits include having a mutual respect for others, helping someone out when they are in need, and doing your best to make a positive contribution to the world around you. These traits can be found in a good student who respects his teachers, helps other students, and goes out their way to create a better learning enviroment. This can also be seen with a citizen who picks up trash, donates to charity, and makes sure people are happy with the current state of our states/governemnts laws.

There are multiple ways that one becomes a U.S citizen. Some of the more straight-forward ways are just by being born in the U.S or having two parents who are American Citizens. Some of the more difficult ways include getting married to a U.S citizen, living in the U.S for 5 years, proving that you have basic knowledge of our country and government, and pledging your allegiance to the U.S

People migrate to the U.S from all over the world. While everyone has different experiences, most of the reasons people choose the U.S can be broken down into two groups. There are push factors, which lead people out of their home countries, and pull factors, which encourage people to choose the U.S over other countries. Some examples of push factors are poor quality of life, lack of job opportunities, poverty, bad medical care, war and political issues, and lack of education. To appeal to these people, some of the pull factors that the U.S has to offer are free speech, economic opportunities, religious freedom, higher education, good health care, and higher living standards.
