On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 terrorist took over 4 different planes and were going to use them to destroy the Pentagon, the White House, and The Twin towers. The first plane crashed into the North tower at 8:45 a.m, causing people to go into panic, but about 20 minutes later, at 9:03 a.m, the South tower got hit by a second plane. By this time, people realized the United States was under attack. A third plane then crashed into the western side of the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m, the fourth plane was planned to crash into the White House, but passengers on that plane managed to overtake the hijacker and the plane ended up crashing in a field in Pennsylvania at 10:03 a.m. All this happened within an hour and a half.
