Question to ask ourselves as educators:
1. How would we start a staff discussion on moving towards cultural responsiveness in a more intentional way?
2. How might we integrate specific life experiences of our students into daily
instruction and learning processes?
Practical strategies that may benefit ELL learners: "Know and build upon students’ prior knowledge, interests, strengths and learning styles and ensure they are foundational to the learning experiences in the classroom and the school"
-Important to note: Educators should see the curriculum as a flexible document to the lived experiences of
students so they see themselves and their lives reflected in daily learning
opportunities. - this idea is perhaps especially crucial for ELL students. 
Questions I still have: 
1. How does white privilege come into play within this context? How can white educators amplify BIPOC/diverse voices in an authentic way?
2. Intersectionality: How can an educator ensure that their content is intersectional? 
3. What are some ressources I can use to educate myself further on this topic?
