         <description><![CDATA[<div>Beside the content, I learned about the concept ladder.  That's a great technique, which involved everyone and reviewed the content!! The one type of self-assessment I want to use is the one that uses evidence.  I like how this one is like a check list, but it also requires students to intentionally recognize where they are meeting the requirements. </div>]]></description>

I feel that is a great way for students to self reflect and think about their work. I think also lends itself to differentiation as you can incorporate sentence stems for ELL students.</div>]]></description>

I would probably create a conversation table, where the teacher and student discuss the student’s progress. That way the student can say everything without the fear of being judged in a face-to-face conversation.</div>]]></description>
