Who and what is causing ocean pollution? Humans around the world are helping to create this devastating issue. Here is some information I gathered from this article:

  • Most ocean pollution begins on land.
  • “One of the biggest sources is called non-point source pollution, which occurs as a result of runoff.”
  • Non-point pollution is caused by cars, trucks, boats, septic tanks, farms and forest areas.
  • Pollution is mainly caused by humans.
  • Not just by what we do, but what products and machines we use and make everyday.
