Mount Everest is 29,029 feet high which is the tallest mountain in the world. It is located in the Mahalangur Range, and is the international border between China and Nepal. The weather on the mountain is brutal. The first people to summit Everest were Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay while the youngest person to summit Everest was Jordan Romero at 13 years old. Did you know, 200+ corpses are still littering the mountain’s slopes, but China has removed many bodies from sight? Also, Yuichiro Miura is the oldest person to summit Everest at 80 years old.

Located in the Andes mountains in Mendoza, Argentina and reaches the peak of 22,841 feet. The first person to summit it was Matthias Zurbriggen. The youngest person to summit Mount Aconcagua was Tyler Armstrong at age 9. Snow and windstorms are common on Mount Aconcagua. Also, feared electric storms are common due to its geographical situation. Lightning bolts fall especially on the mountain peaks in the Northwest area and on the summit, making the stay and ascent difficult. In 2014 Ecuadorian-Swiss Karl Egloff set a record for climbing and descending Aconcagua from Horcones in 11 hours 52 minutes.

The Carstensz Pyramid is the smallest mountain in the 7 summits with an elevation of 16,024 feet. It is located in the Sudirman Mountains in the Papua Province in Indonesia. It is said that you can climb up this mountain any time of the year. It has only one stable period of bad weather. Pilots say that there are only four days of nice weather on the Carstensz Pyramid in a year. The problem is that they can't say on which days those are. The first person to summit the Carstensz Pyramid, or also known as the Puncak Jaya, was Heinrich Harrer. Then the youngest person to the summit was Jordan Romero at age 13. In 1995-2005 the Carstensz Pyramid was closed to climbers as the government stopped granting permits to climb the mountain.
