Slaves do have inequalities, specifically with gender norms. Men were more commonly shipped than women when it came to bringing them to their enslaved locations, as they were seen as stronger and more useful. They would've likely helped with farm work and gathering. Women did have a purpose, but it was much less required. They were used for cleaning, cooking, and other necessities. Things include reproduction, sexual abuse, production, etc. They were more exploited for personal matters rather than being used for wealth.

The government of France was a monarchy. There were very significant laws regarding enslavement and the treatment of enslaved individuals as well as freed individuals, both of which were produced by Spain and France, and which were enforced by police in the colonies.

As well as Spain, England, and France had control over the colonies in America. Power is based on social class and race. There is no contract for slavery, they are forced to do labor. Due to the many plantations that required extreme work to cultivate and harvest products, the demand for workers began, and this caused millions of slaves to be captured and shipped out to different places in the Americas. The production of crops such as tobacco, cotton, and sugar cane was due under extremely harsh conditions, and caused extreme labor to be done by slaves.

-violett

Religion was the main requirement in the French colonies. Slaves who lived there were forced to convert to Catholicism and be baptized under the Apostolic and Catholic faith. Slaves did not receive any type of education; only if a slave was given freedom were they allowed to receive an education. Slaves living in the Americas were a Diaspora, which means that they were forced and moved away from their country. The daily lives of slaves were horrible; they were forced to work every day on plantations for a huge amount of time, they were given no home to live in, and even if they were lucky enough, they would receive only two pairs of clothing per year. Living under these harsh conditions caused some slaves to run away or even commit suicide. - violett
