This painting is made with hanging scroll by ink on silk. This artwork was created during the Ming dynasty. The overall length of the whole painting is 120 inches high and 46.75 wide. It is now located in the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco.

The focus of this painting is the two eagles. The artist's mastery of proportion made these two eagles seem to be alive. The details of the eagle are very shocking. The details of each feather and the use of ink make it very lifelike. In the website Asian Art Museum Online Collection it gives a very in-depth explanation about Lin Liang’s painting. The main point of this painting is described as the “double heroes”. To explain the painting in detail, we got the scene of two eagles fighting in the cold winter. Lin Liang painted these Eagles very ferociously and vividly. In general, what is indispensable to the whole painting is the artist's study of birds and his unique perception of these objects.

Lin Liang is an outstanding court painter, but he is different from the usual court painters painting flowers and birds. His paintings of flowers and birds are more embodied in ink, rather than using bright colors to paint this type of subject like common court painters.

This painting is created by hangingscroll with ink and colors on paper. The height of this hangingscroll is 103.75 inches with a width of 25.125 inches. This artwork was created during the Ming dynasty. Now located in the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco.

Ding Yunpeng is known for his religious figures and landscape paintings. His early paintings were deeply influenced by the paintings of Songjiang literati, which made him focus more on the appreciation of the past. The painting also uses many early painting methods such as scalloped clouds, folded rock shapes and this well depicts a scene of Daoist immortals.

This ceramics is created with porcelain with decoration painted in underglaze cobalt blue. It is now located in the Foundation Collection, British Museum. London.

Ming Dynasty is famous for its exquisite ceramic art. The shape of the two porcelain vases used by the Chinese royal family to decant wine may be inspired by the glassware brought back by merchants from Islam. The most striking thing about these two pottery is the dragon pattern on them. Dragons play an important role in folklore in China. Dragons also have different symbolic meanings in different periods. In the Han Dynasty, the dragon was symbolized as an empire, while in the Tang Dynasty, the dragon was a symbol of enlightenment.

This painting is made by handscroll with ink and color on paper. It is from the Ming dynasty. The height of this painting is around 40x60.2cm. It is now located in the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri.

In the early landscape paintings, the image of objects is usually dwarfed by the magnificence of nature This picture depicts the traveler walking along the stream to the highest mountain. The clouds at the top of the peak indicate that he has reached an indescribable height, and even the clouds are under his feet. This well reflects the unique personality and style of literati painting because of the combination of painting and poetry.
