For Starbucks, they promote fair trade by trading coffee at a relatively reasonable price with farmers in LEDC. 
Reasons being are: 
- To benefit the society 
- Build a better brand image 

Examples of unethically business are Apple,  Cocola and more. Apple hired child labour to assemble phones for them.
