I already have potatoes in my diet. The key for me is actually lessening the amount I incorporate in my diet. But with this I actually know how to adopt in a better way with more options. For me it was “Peel Back the truth” because when people hear potatoes they automatically assume no I can't eat that. They think negatively about them, and that they cannot risk incorporating them into their diet. This campaign turned those negative views and thoughts into something positive and informing. They were able to share how potatoes are actually good and really opened the eyes of people who would want to adopt potatoes in their diet more consistently. Honestly no, I have never heard of her in the past and i still do not know who she is. I mean now I do because of this but I would have never known about her otherwise.

I actually think the humor in its ad gave them a better image. Instead of it being a formal strict ad that bored me to death, I became interested. The livelihood in the ads gave it something more relatable and was an attention grabber. Yes I do because there will always be glitches and situations that may cause a crisis but that does not always mean you need to change the approach. Just change certain words for better communication. I think the humor in their ads is great and really captures the audience's attention so maybe change the type of humor. I think their strategy is fine, they are now known to be humorous. I guess perhaps to be more aware and think about possible repercussions. If they did not take accountability and apologize it would have damaged their reputation significantly. I think sticking to their strategy was for the best, because their popularity for the ads would have lowered. Sales I do not think so but popularity wise yes.

Yes I do. The CEO did not stall or make excuses. He immediately responded and apologized for the situation. Not only did the CEO show remorse, regret, and took accountability but immediately made changes. He offered compensation to the victims and changed starbucks policies to avoid situations like this in the future. I think maybe they will change their entire image. I do not know how because Starbucks is already so innovative and open. I think they would have someone else step in, like create an entire new position that is geared towards equality in the workplace and image of starbucks.
