         <description><![CDATA[<div>Water beading off a freshly waxed car. This happens because the cohesive water is attracted to itself which is why the water beads up on the hood. Water cohesion is most noticeable when it has a sticky quality. For example when something gets wet the cohesive water tries to stick together. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Bugs can walk on water because they don’t have a lot of weight so they don’t puncture holes in water like we do when we go in the water because we have much more weight.</li><li>Washing with cold water vs. hot water. We wash dishes, hands or our bodies with hot water and it's because the surface tension is lower so it gets things wet better than cold water.</li></ul>]]></description>

If there was no such thing as surface tension then the smallest things on Earth would sink to the bottom of water. For example, instead of the particles from dust sticking to the top of the water it would all sink to the bottom and kill all of the plants and animals. This would then result the ecosystem to start falling apart.</div>]]></description>
