the them is bravery because there are six people and two of them who had a crull mom.She never let her out side because she had a club foot.And there was a war happening and her mom will not let the two kids live. So one morning they escaped and wher evacuees. Then someone called susan too with the took them and they had a horse and the girl alwys played on the horse and they lived ther for two years.And one day when jamie  came home from school he found a strey cat and nambed it Braviel. One day the girl Ada was coming back on the hourse and saw there mom and her mom took them home but Susan loved them so they tried to escape and they did. But there was a boom and they hide in some ones else shelter. And found Susan and when the boom left Susan told them that Susan's house blow up But Braviel survived.
