Before taking up Fine Arts, I only saw architecture in movies and TV shows; for me it was just simply about planning, designing, and constructing buildings; where the architect sketches and builds a model of his building depending on the request of his client.
Everytime I visit a churches or other architectural sites, I always value the history behind the construction and it these structures suddenly becomes more beautiful in my eyes.
Before this module, I always perceived architecture as something simple yet requires a lot of artistic output and inspiration within the architect as well as from his surroundings.
I knew that Architecture have symbols and meanings behind how it was constructed and I know that each building is a work of art and so there are various combined elements and principles of art.

*The function of the architecture is as important as its form. [Form follows function] Sometimes there will be people who will question the function of the building no matter how beautiful the architecture is.
*Architecture has a lot of styles, and has gone through different periods overtime. [Classical, Medieval, Gothic, Modern] and we can see the changes and improvements on Architecture
*Organic Architecture is the harmony of nature and the urban world
*What you perceive as beautiful architecture may not be considered as a Fine Art.

I would like to learn how architecture can be more environmental-friendly in terms of maintaining green spaces in urban areas and to apply the different features of architecture in drawing my own during hands-on activities. Lastly, I want to find out the different cultural symbols that famous architectural structures represent around the world.
