 Students will learn from international experts all about climate science, map the evidence, and learn how they can support future endeavours to reduce emissions and raise awareness using StoryMaps. 

Pūtātara draws on three fundamental concepts in te ao Māori. These will support your students to explore and act on sustainability and global citizenship.

The lesson packages were co-developed between NIWA’s climate researchers and meteorologists, and teachers and students from a group of West Auckland intermediate schools.
