Natural Gas

Natural gases, such as Methane
and some other gases are trapped between seams of rock under the earth's
surface. Pipes are sunk into the ground to release the gas. Often used in
houses for heating and cooking.

The advantages Gas is a ready-made fuel. It is a relatively
cheap form of energy. It's a slightly cleaner fuel than coal and oil.

Disadvantages: When burned, it gives off atmospheric
pollutants, including greenhouse gases. Only limited supply of gas.Farm animals becoming sick and dying
from spillage of contaminated water, also it is highly flammable.

Natural gases are used for energy
consumption as one of the main heating fuels. Natural
gas is also an essential raw material for many common products, such as paints,
fertilizer, plastics, antifreeze, dyes, photographic film, medicines and
explosives. We also get propane, a fuel we use in many of our backyard barbecue
grills, when we process natural gas.

Industry depends on
it. Natural gas has thousands of uses. It is used to produce steel, glass,
paper, clothing, brick, electricity and other products. Homes use natural gas
to fuel stoves, furnaces, water heaters, clothes dryers and other household
appliances. It is also used to roast coffee, smoke meat, bake bread, etc.

Gas is a natural fuel, that is estimated to run out in 70
years time. It is an non-renewable source meaning at some point it will all run
out.  Gas is being overused every day,
when gas is burnt it releases green house gases also making pollution.  Natural gases are found underground in rocks.
Before natural gases can be used as a fuel, it must undergo processing to
remove impurities, including water, to meet the specifications of marketable
natural gases. Natural gases is often informally referred to simply as gas, epically
when compared to other energy sources such as oil and coal.  Gas is used for in many ways including;  for car fuel, fizzy drinks (carbon dioxide). There
is no way we can stop natural gases from running out except from cutting down
what we use. People are scared that gas will run out because so far
scientist don’t know anything to take over gas when it runs out. Natural gases
heat approximately 57% of US households. Natural gases accounted for over
one-fifth of the worlds energy mix in 2005. Gas is one of the fewest harmful
gases when burnt when compared with the other fossil fuels, oil and coal.
