Comparing this piece to a thief stealing allows the perfect view of the composition. The flute sections that fluctuate create a visualization of how the thief could be creeping his hand in to take food or any other object. The percussion builds up this moment of suspense and amplifies the notes of the music and the actions of the thief. Now imagine an outdoor market (like the one in Aladdin), and a poor, young man is walking by when he sees some fruits in a bag, so he sneaks up to a stand, he tries to grab the bag without drawing attention, his hand wavering as this is his first time stealing. However, before it is possible, the seller rats him out. The young man runs away with the seller hunting him, leaving the other seller behind. Along the way, the thief makes sharp turns, making the seller take shortcuts to cut him off. With a sigh of relief, he takes the last turn and goes to hide. He turns around, ready to eat back at home, or what he calls home when the seller appears behind him. The seller smacks his head and snatches the bag of fruits back.
