Taught rather traditional Latin values. Once, Bliss would've rebelled against such gender-conforming.  This is an example of collectivism because bliss did not grow up religious and when she got with Fabio and his family who are more religious on traditional Latin values she conformed to their beliefs for her and her children.

She works long hours and eats when she can. The amounts of stress she undergoes also effects what she wants to eat. She normally sticks to comfort foods and lots of caffeine. Traditional division of labor is comforting for her. Bliss is deeply set in stereotypical gender roles. Bliss also practiced Endogamy when she married a fellow Hispanic person whom she meets from working for his father during nursing school. During Bliss' second child she went into severe eclampsia and almost lost her child and her daughter's life. After Bliss and her daughter recovered she and Fabio was hit hard by expensive medical bills which impacted their marriage. Seeing what this may do to his family Fabio decides to step up to pay off the medical bills. Recently because of Aunt Janelle's dramatic passing, they used most of the money to pay off the medical bills. (Weiten, Dunn, & Hammer, 2018)
