Had good articles which listen great evidence. To me the video came across as a sort of joke rather than serious evidence. You used great evidence in your essay as well. I understand that there were a lot of long term effects on Japan because of the nuclear bombs. The Japanese had a honor system that would make it harder for us to secure a win. They did not even surrender after we dropped a bomb on a populated area. Launching a full scale attack would take a lot longer than dropping the nukes. We also had to watch out or Russia who was competing for control over Japan with us. If Russia had occupied Japan then they could have turned it into a territory under their control. Considering we helped stabilize Japan and establish a new form of government, and also save the live of many people on both sides, I would say this justifies the atomic bombs.

History told us this if we never learned the effects the A bomb left we might make the mistake in 50 year to drop it again. We go over this because we can learn from our mistakes even if it isn't directly our mistake. I mean the first day in class Crossen said if theres one thing we learn its to not invade Russia in the winter. He did not learn that out of the blue.. He learned it from history... and past mistakes others have made. The A bomb is a perfect example of this. It has not been dropped on people sense then because we now know the effects...
